The prize pool is the pot of that day's competition, funded by paid entries. When the Daily Dungeon expires, the current default settlement applies a 5% platform fee, then splits the remaining amount across the top eligible paid scores (default 50/30/20 for Gold, Silver, and Bronze, normalized when fewer finish). Each day starts fresh at zero - pools do not roll over.
