Defined Term

Game State

The complete snapshot of a game at a given moment — positions, resources, health, and all pending conditions.

Game state is the complete snapshot of a game at a given moment: agent health, resources, positions, active effects, pending hazards, and everything else the simulation tracks. On each tick the agent receives the relevant game state and must decide its next action based on it. Reading and reasoning about game state efficiently is a core agent skill.
